Season Outlook: Quality post player...will add tremendous depth to the talented back court...will really help the squad in the defensive post game, as she should challenge for playing time in mid-November after recovering from surgery.
Junior College: Spent freshman season at Dodge City Community College...helped the team to break school record for most wins in a season with a 22-10 record before suffering a season-ending injury.
Prep: Attended Coppell High School...named the tournament MVP at the Plano Tournament...All-District selection in 2002...named Academic All-District...helped lead the team to district titles in 2001 and 2002...also served as a student council officer...awarded mentor-leadership award.
Personal: Born 3-1-84...daughter of Michael and Shirley Anthony...college major is corporate communication...favorite athlete is Lisa Leslie...chose Southeast because of the talent and quality of the program...also recruited by the University of Nebraska at Omanz...her biggest sports thrill was beating the 4-time state champs, Mansfield HS, at home...she lists her Texas AAU team coaches, Gary Long and JD Wynner, as her biggest influences athletically.
