Biography

Season Outlook: Possible returner to start at shooting guard for third consecutive season ... ranks 10th all-time at Southeast in assists (223) and third all-time in steals (160)

2001-02: Started all 28 games ... fourth on the team in scoring (8.0) and lead the team in assists (3.4 per game) and steals (72 total) ... steals average (2.57) finished second in the OVC ... recorded a career-high six steals on two occasions, versus Tennessee State (1.31) and Austin Peay (2.26) in first round of OVC Tournament ... tied career-high of 17 points versus both Missouri-Baptist (1.2) and Austin Peay (2.23) ... improved free-throw shooting from sophomore season ... hit 63.8% overall from foul line but 80% in the game's final five minutes ... knocked down seven free-throws in final five minutes of victory over Lipscomb (11.27) ... tied a career-high with nine rebounds against Tennessee-Martin (1.17).

2000-01: Started all 27 games ... third on team in scoring (9.6) and second in total assists (68) ... shot 42% from three-point range ... tallied a career-high 17 points against each Tennessee Tech (2.6.01) and Eastern Kentucky (2.22.01) ... had a career-high nine rebounds against Morehead State (1.27.01) ... scored in double figures in seven of team's last nine games ... recorded a team-high 60 steals.

1999-00: Although limited to two starts, Porter saw action in all 28 games ... she poured in an average of 5.7 points per game and dished out 24 assists in 478 minutes of time ... tallied 16 points against Tennessee State (2.3.00) ... led team with 15 points at Tennessee-Martin (1.13.00) ... dished out a team-season high seven assists in win over Oakland City (12.7.99) ... team's top steals leader in three games.

1998-99: Received a red-shirt.

Prep Career: 1998 graduate of Bosse High School ... played small forward for coach Angie Oliver and earned All-State honorable mention, second team All-Metro and All-Conference honors ... three-year captain ... outstanding track athlete at BHS ...
