Southeast Missouri State University Athletics

Courtney Smith was hired as Director of Operations in August of 2019. Smith will be responsible for business operations, Under Armour inventory, communications, team travel, community service and alumni coordinator. She will also assist with on-campus recruiting and camps. 

Smith is a former Division I student-athlete who participated in track and field at Northern Illinois. She was a head track and field & cross country coach in Schaumburg, Illinois prior to SEMO. Smith has also worked as a Physical Education teacher and an Administrative Assistant in Cape Girardeau. 

Smith resides in Jackson with her husband, Ray, daughters, Leila and Zoe. and son, Tripp.
