Cameron Tucker

Cameron Tucker is in his first year as an assistant women’s basketball coach at Southeast Missouri State University. He also serves the recruiting coordinator for the Redhawks.
 
Tucker joined the Redhawks after serving as the head coach at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland since 2013. He was the head of performance basketball for the top team in Scotland and No. 5 squad in the United Kingdom, which advanced to the elite eight in the national tournament. During his tenure, Tucker transitioned the program to the Premier Division, the top conference in the UK. He recruited student-athletes from Europe and the United States.
 
Tucker has also worked on the women's basketball staffs at Houston Baptist (2012-13), Wisconsin-Milwaukee (2008-12), Warner University (2007-08) and Ball State (2006-07). He was an assistant coach at Houston Baptist and during his last two seasons with UW-Milwaukee. He originally joined the UW-Milwaukee staff as a video coordinator for two seasons. Tucker was an assistant coach at Warner for one season after serving as the video coordinator at Ball State.
 
Prior to transferring to Ball State, he was a student manager for the Iowa men's basketball program (2003-05). He earned his bachelor's degree in History and master's in Physical Education with a coaching specialization from Ball State.
 
In addition to collegiate coaching experience, Tucker has served as a national evaluator for Blue Star Basketball (2012-14) and assistant coach for the men's and women's programs at New Castle (Ind.) High School.
