Brooke Hengst is in her third year as the Associate Director of Academics and Student-Athlete Development at Southeast Missouri.
In her role, Hengst manages all aspects of the Academic Services department. While she works with all the athletic programs, she has direct oversight of baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, soccer, and men's and women's track & field. Prior to serving as the Associate Director, Hengst spent worked years as SEMO's Coordinator of Student-Athlete Development.
As a student at SEMO, Hengst worked in the Accounts Payable and Athletics departments, while interning with the Accounting office.
During her position as Graduate Assistant for Accounting Services, Hengst primarily assisted with SEMO's Purchasing Card Program. She helped develop and administer training material and served as the liaison between the University and financial institutions for the program. Hengst helped grow the program from 14 to 200 participants in her time there.
She received her Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from SEMO in December 2017. Hengst graduated Magna Cum Laude from SEMO in May 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an emphasis in Finance.
Hengst and her husband, Derrick, are the parents of one child, Katelyn.
