Biography
2025 Outdoor: Competed in eight meets…Collected three top-five finishes with one event win...Started out the season with a 12th place finish at the Ole Miss Classic with a mark of 15' 1.5" (4.61m)...He took the title at thr Pacesetter Sports Invitational clearing the bar at 16' 4.75" (5.00m)...He finished 12th again at the Crimson Tide Invitational (4.85m)...After back-to-back NH, Beers bounced back with a Personal best vault of 16'6" (5.03m) which was good for second at the Memphis Tigers Invitational...He finished the season at the OVC Outdoor Championships with a mark of 15' 9" (4.80m) finishing fourth.
2025 Indoor: Competed in eight meets…placed in the top-five in four meets. He won the pole vault at the Redhawks Invite with a mark of 15' 7" (4.75m)...He followed that up with a second place at the Show-Me Showdown with a height of 15' 5"...In the second home meet of the season he finished second clearing the bar at 16' 0.75"...He wrapped up the indoor season with a fourth place finish (16' 0", 4.88m) at the OVC Championships.
2024 Outdoor: Competed in eight meets…Had three top three finishes…Started the season bringing home a silver medal in the pole vault 15’ 6.5” (4.74m) at the Richard Martin Invitational…During the only home meet of the season recorded a vault of 15’ 7” (4.75m) and finished in first place at the 2024 Joey Haines Invite…At the 2024 Ohio Valley Outdoor Championships recorded a new personal best in the pole vault getting to the height of 16’ 3.5” (4.97m) and finishing with the silver medal.
2024 Indoor: Competed in seven meets…Recorded four top five finishes…At home during the Redhawks Invite placed third in the pole vault with a vault of 15’ 1” (4.60m)...Recorded his best finish of the season getting to the height of 4.77-meters in the pole vault at the Bellarmine Open taking home the silver medal…During the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic vaulted to the height of 15’ 7” (4.75m) placing eighth…Placed fifth at the Samford Bulldog Invite in the pole vault (15’ 5.75”, 4.72m)...At the 2024 Ohio Valley Indoor Championships finished in fourth place and recorded a vault of 15’ 6.25” (4.73m).
2023 Outdoor: Competed in eight meets…Posted five top five finishes…Named OVC male field and freshman athlete of the week once…Opened the season with a silver medal in the pole vault when he cleared a height of 14' 9" (4.50m)...At the home opener vaulted for a height of 14' 7.25" (4.45m) for fourth… Cleared a distance of 15' 6" (4.72m) in the pole vault to win the gold at the Cougar Classic…At the Memphis Tiger Invitational posted a fifth place finish in the pole vault (15' 4.25", 4.68m)... At the OVC Championship vaulted for a distance of 15' 3" (4.65m) to stand on the podium with a bronze medal in the pole vault.
2023 Indoor: Competed in eight meets…Notched six top five finishes including two first place finishes…Placed third in the pole vault with a vault of 14’10” (4.52m) at the Edmonds-Wilt Invitational…Posted a first place finish at the Redhawks Invite with a 15' 5.75" (4.72m) jump while setting a new PR... During the John Gartland Invitational he set a PR in the 200 meter with a run of 26.10, while placing 5th in the pole vault with a score of 14’ 4.5’ (4.38m)...During the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic meet finished with a vault of 14’ 7.25’’ (4.45m) for third, in the pole vault... Notched a sixth place finish in the pole vault with a score of 14’ 6.25’’ (4.43m) At the Hoosier Hills Invite... Placed first in the pole vault with a jump of 14’ 10.75’’ (4.54m) at the Redhawks Open... During the OVC championship finished second in pole vault with a 15 '1'’ (4.60m).
Prep: Finished sixth overall with a 14’ 9” mark in the pole vault at the Illinois High School Association 2A State Track & Field meet...Earned First-Team Southern Illinois Coaches Association All-South honors...One of 15 individuals from Marion High School who signed national letters of intent for the 2022-23 campaign.
