2020 Indoor: Ran in four meets…Had two top-five finishes…Made his Redhawks debut at the SEMO vs. SIUE Dual Meet (12/6/19), finishing third in the 3,000 meters (10:09.70) and posting a personal-best mile time of 4:45.12 (eighth)…Set a PR mark of 16:05.52 in the 5,000 meters to finish as the runner-up at the Missouri Intercollegiate (1/17)…Was clocked at a career best 9:19.92 (18th) in the 3,000 meters at the Illini Invitational (1/24-25).
2019 Cross Country: Ran in five meets…Made Redhawks debut with a ninth-place finish of 16:52.7 (PR) at the 2019 Saluki Invite (9/30)…Posted a time of 27:18.3 (38th) at the Bradley Intercollegiate (9/20)…Completed the 8K at the Bradley ‘Pink’ Classic (10/18) in a career best 26:47.5 (119th)…Finished 51st at the 2019 OVC Championship (11/2) at SIUE in Edwardsville, Illinois, in 27:10.9…Concluded the 10K at the NCAA Midwest Regional (11/15) at Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in 34:00.7 (149th).
Prep: Attended Saxony Lutheran High School in Jackson, Missouri…Competed in cross country and track & field at Saxony Lutheran…Ran in the 800m, 1,600m, 3,200m and 5K events…Lettered all four years…In senior season, was the conference and district champion while being named to the all-state team for cross country…Finished seventh at state in both the 1,600 meters and 3,200 meters…Crowned the state champion in the 3,200 meters…Also, was fifth in the 1,600 meters at state…As a junior, earned the conference, district and state championships for cross country…Was the cross country conference champion, district champion and earned all-state honors as a sophomore…Coached by Larry Cleair…Also was an all-conference swimmer…Graduated from Saxony Lutheran in 2019.
