Biography

2024: Started 16 of 24 appearances as a freshman…Went 3-4 with a 3.69 ERA, two complete games and one save…Combined on two shutouts…Recorded 35 strikeouts in 68.1 innings and held opponents to a .246 batting average…Went undefeated with a 3-0 record and 2.54 ERA in 13 appearances and eight starts in Ohio Valley Conference play…Ranked third on the team in appearances, second in starts and tied for second in strikeouts…Her .246 batters against average was second-best on the team…Got her first career win when she pitched five innings with one strikeouts vs. Eastern Illinois (3/9)…Had a season-high six strikeouts in 3.2 innings at nationally-ranked Auburn (2/24)…Finished with five strikeouts in seven innings en route to her first career complete game victory vs. Tennessee Tech (4/6)…Also pitched seven innings vs. Florida International (2/10)…Did not allow a run in five of her appearances…Made first career postseason start vs. Villanova (5/18) at the NCAA Regional in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Prep: Played her final high school season at Fairmont High School, where she rewrote the pitching records in nearly every category...The Ms. Minnesota softball finalist pitched the Cardinal program’s first-ever perfect games -- vs. Luverne and New Ulm Cathedral...Also combined for a no-hitter against Waseca...Earned Class AA First-Team All-State honors...The All-Section 2AA pick notched a program-best 25 strikeouts in 9.1 innings...Struck out 24 in nine innings and a playoff-record 22 in 10.2 frames against New Ulm...Also struck out 21 and 20, while amassing 18 strikeouts a total of three times...Finished the year with a single-season school record of 298 strikeouts in 2023...An All-Big South Conference honoree, she went 15-4 with eight shutouts and a staggering 0.40 ERA while limiting opposing hitters to a .068 clip in 121 innings...Fairmont finished third in the Second 2AA Tournament and won the program’s first-ever conference title...Offensively, she led Fairmont with a .478 batting average, drew a program record 21 walks and led her team with a .604 on-base percentage...As a junior at Newton High School, she broke her school record with 266 strikeouts and fashioned a 0.97 ERA...She hit .445 with 11 home runs, 10 doubles and 34 RBI that year, as well...Was a First-Team All-State and All-League performer and was named Conference Player of the Year and Class 5A Co-Player of the Year in her final year at Newton High School.
