Biography

2002: Played in 30 games, mainly as a pinch runner and backup in the outfield ... showed great speed in stealing 2-3 bases ... also scored eight runs as a pinch runner ... did get four at-bats, recording two hits and drawing a walk while recording one RBI.

Junior College: Attended East Central Junior College.

Prep: Attended Jackson High ... played outfield for coach Becky Riney ... named to all-district team during her senior season ... also participated in basketball, soccer and track and field.

Personal: Born 12-5-81 ... daughter of Larry and Judy DeClue ... will be majoring in business administration at Southeast ... father is a graduate of Southeast Missouri ... favorite athlete is Olympian softball player Lisa Fernandez ... enjoys rollerblading and golf ... would like to own her own business someday.

Richmond says: "Stacy's defensive skills in the outfield have emerged fundamentally solid. She adds another dimension to our veteran outfield corps. Stacey has shown continued improvement at the plate and her speed will create a better on base percentage."
