Will Holifield

Will Holifield enters his first year as a student assistant coach with the Redhawk men’s basketball program.

A native of nearby Sikeston, Holifield played in nine games as a guard at Southeast in 2013-14 before his career was cut short due to injury.

Before coming to Southeast, Holifield played two seasons at Three Rivers Community College. He played in 29 games and made two starts in 2012-13, averaging 2.4 points per contest. Holifield saw action in 22 contests during the 2011-12 campaign.

As a prep, Holifield was a three-year varsity player at Sikeston High School. He was part of three conference championships, three district championships and three state quarterfinal appearances during his prep career. Holifield was a co-captain who averaged 10.5 points per game as the Bulldogs finished 30-0 and won the Class 4 state championship his senior year. He played for his father, Gregg Holifield.
