Scepter Brownlee

  • Title
    Assistant Coach
Scepter Brownlee is in his second season as an assistant coach at Southeast.

Brownlee came to Southeast after spending one year as an assistant coach at Tennessee with Redhawks head coach, Scott Edgar. Brownlee also spent one season as an assistant coach at Colby Community College in Colby, Kan.

"Scepter is a young coach much like myself at that age," Edgar said. "He has a great opportunity to be a full time Division I assistant at a young age. I am impressed with his knowledge, maturity and his core values. At Tennessee, he helped in a lot of areas including on-campus recruiting visits. He is an excellent evaluator of talent and his on the floor instruction is second to none. Every player who works with him will improve."

Originally from Ft. Wayne, Ind., Brownlee is a 2003 graduate of the University of San Francisco where he played basketball. While at USF, he was the recipient of the Jackie Robinson USF African American Athlete of the Year award. Prior to USF, Brownlee also played basketball at Glen Oaks Community College.
