Biography

Goes into fall drills in a battle for a starting position at safety ... made some big plays and recorded four interceptions last season ... gained valuable playing experience as a backup in the secondary in 2003 ... very intelligent player ... hard worker on the field and in the weight room.

2004: Tied for the leading tackler with 72 tackles including 45 unassisted stops ... four interceptions returned 11 yards ... broke up three passes ... interception in the end zone during overtime was a key to the Redhawks four overtime win over Samford.

2003: Saw action on special teams and limited time in the secondary...recorded four tackles including three unassisted stops.

2002: Squadman

PREP: Two-time all-region, all-conference and Dream Team while a quarterback and defensive back at North County High School...Dream Team player of the Year...in 2001 Sectional playoff game at Houck Stadium vs. Cape Central, he passed for 336 yards and ran for 201 yards with four touchdown passes and three rushing TD[apos]s...also all-conference in baseball.

PERSONAL: Born 9-18-83...son of Steve and Diane AuBuchon...Southeast Scholar Athlete with a 3.294 grade point average in business.
