Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (NEO): Began his collegiate baseball career at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (NEO) on the mound for head coach Roger Ward…Over two seasons, Pennington made 28 appearances on the mound including a career-best 15 appearances in 2023…He finished with a 6-8 overall record, pitching in 123.1 innings...He accumulated a 5.73 ERA in year one at NEO and a 4.24 ERA in year two…He finished his two seasons at NEO with 102 total strikeouts…He was selected as an Honorable Mention All-Region selection…In the classroom, he ended as a Dean’s Honor Roll student. 
 
Prep: Attended Owasso High School in Owasso, Oklahoma where he played for head coach Larry Turner…He started on the mound for the Rams during the 2021 season where he finished as an Honorable Mention All-State selection…During that season, Owasso finished as Regional Champions. 

Personal: The son of Mack and Kristin Pennington…Mason intends on majoring in Professional Studies at Southeast.
