Talented running back who was a starter last season until sidelined by a knee injury...strong runner...good receiver out of the backfield.

2003: Played in eight games...missed four games with knee injury that required surgery...injured in the SMS game...tried to play vs. Samford but then missed next four games...returned for limited action begining with the Tennessee State game...60 carries for 240 yards and two TD[apos]s...nine catches for 90 yards.

AT SAN MATEO CC: Rushed for 878 yards and eight TD[apos]s in 2002 at San Mateo CC...1,237 all-purpose yards...offensive MVP...all-conference.

PREP: Played at Junipero Serra High School.

PERSONAL: Born 12-3-81...son of Becky Taufoou...majoring in university studies.
