Justin Drudik is in his sixth season at Southeast Missouri. Drudik is the Redhawks offensive pass game coordinator and wide receivers coach. He also served as SEMO’s recruiting coordinator for three years.

For the second time under Drudik, the Redhawks sent a wide receiver to the NFL when Johnny King signed as an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts following the 2022 season. King, along with fellow receiver Ryan Flournoy, each earned First-Team All-Ohio Valley Conference honors.

In 2020, Drudik coached another First-Team All-OVC Conference wide receiver in  Zack Smith.

Smith was the Redhawks top receiver with 38 catches for 403 yards and four touchdowns that year. He averaged 50.4 yards per game and 10.6 yards per catch. Smith ranked fifth in the OVC in receptions per game (4.8) and ninth in receiving yards per contest.

Drudik also played an important role in developing Kristian Wilkerson, who wrapped up his career as one of the best receivers in program history.

Wilkerson signed as an undrafted free agent with the Tennessee Titans and is now with the Las Vegas Raiders.

He broke the school’s all-time career records in receiving yards (3,540) and receiving touchdowns (33). Wilkerson also earned All-America and All-OVC accolades during his impressive career.

Drudik was previously at Colorado Mesa, where he worked as the team’s recruiting coordinator and tight ends coach. He was on the Colorado Mesa coaching staff with Jeromy McDowell, who is currently SEMO’s offensive coordinator.

Before joining the Maverick staff, Drudik worked with the safeties at Emporia State while serving as a graduate assistant coach in 2015.

In 2013-2014, Drudik worked at the University of Nebraska in the recruiting offices.

Drudik played at Nebraska-Kearney from 2008-12, four of those seasons under head coach Russ Martin.

He received his undergraduate degree in sports and business administration from Nebraska-Kearney in 2012 and received his master’s degree in health and physical education from Emporia State in 2016.

Drudik and his wife, Caitlyn, have a daughter Olivia.
