Bobby Brune is in his fourth year as the Coordinator of Marketing & Promotions. His duties include selling corporate partnerships, coordinating all advertising, planning promotions, graphic design and placing Redhawks merchandise to vending outlets.
Prior to being the Coordinator of Marketing & Promotions, Brune was a graduate assistant at Southeast. While completing his master[apos]s degree, Brune played football for the Peoria Pirates of the Arena Football League.
As a quarterback at Southeast, Brune lettered all four years from 1998-2001. Additionally, Brune led the greatest comeback in school history, overcoming a 31-point deficit to beat Southern Illinois 34-33 in 2000. Brune completed his football career at Southeast ranked fifth all-time in career passing yards with 4,124, knocking his own father, Greg Brune, out of that fifth place position. Brune[apos]s grandfather (Charlie), father (Greg), uncle (Lance) and two older brothers (Brent and Brian) all played football at Southeast.
Brune resides in Cape Girardeau with his wife Emily, who played volleyball at Southeast from 2000-2003.
