Rend Lake College: Spent the last two years at Rend Lake College…Did not see game action in 2021…Appeared in three games, going 1-1 with 11 strikeouts in 8.2 innings during the 2020 campaign…Had a season-high six strikeouts at Kaskaskia College and five strikeouts vs. Southeastern Community College that year. 

Prep: Accumulated 17 wins, a 1.82 ERA and 146 strikeouts in 169 innings during his prep career at Mt. Vernon High School…Appeared in 42 games and made 17 starts in his three varsity seasons…Went 7-2 with a 0.88 ERA in 13 games and one start as a senior…Registered 68 strikeouts in 63.2 innings that season…Garnered South Seven Conference Pitcher of the Year honors as a junior. 

Personal: Majoring in Physical Education…Son of Tim and Tranae Brockhouse…His brother, Walker, played baseball at Rend Lake College and Memphis before signing as a free agent with the Houston Astros.
