Prep: Played infield for coach Kent Meader at Tascosa High School...was All-District and All-Area his last two seasons...named Defensive Player of the Year...a member of Who[apos]s Who among American High School Athletes.

Personal: A 2000 graduate of Tascosa High School...favorite professional athlete is Ozzie Smith...also recruited by Hardin-Simmons, Howard Payne and Southwest Texas State...brother Kevin played baseball at McMurray University...went 4-4 with four doubles and three RBI[apos]s in beating top ranked Lubbock Monterey in high school...son of Don and Diane Hansford...Business Major.
