Biography

Outlook: Another talented left handed arm for an already talented staff this season. Could be the No. 3 or 4 starter for the Tribe.

At Cowley County: Was an All-Conference performer at Cowley County where he went 3-2 last season...had a 5.96 ERA in 24.2 innings pitched...had 10 appearances and four starts...struck out 23, while walking only 10.

Prep: Pitched and played both the infield and outfield for his father at Jamestown High School...also was a stellar wrestler where he was a section runner-up, a district runner-up...finished third in the region his senior season...was a 1999 PIAA State Qualifier.

Personal: A 1999 graduate of Jamestown High School...lists bowling and golf as his hobbies...Lasagna is his favorite food...Randy Johnson is his favorite athlete...lists pitching in front of 12,000 people in the JUCO World Series as his biggest sports thrill to date...has five former teammates playing Div. I college baseball...son of Stanley and Donna Skakalski...a Social Studies major at Southeast.
