Biography

Outlook: Will step in at second base and try to fill the void of All-Conference second baseman Clemente Bonilla. A slick fielder and a solid leadoff hitter should challenge Moulton for that duty.

At Auburn: started in 53 of 54 games played in...hit .259 in 193 at bats... had 2 home runs and 19 RBI's, stole 18-20 bases...led team in sacrifice bunts with 15 and was second in stolen bases...Attended Skyline junior college in Bruno, Calif. where he was all-conference for two years.

Prep: Played shortstop at Aragon High School for coach John Arents...was an All-League selection four years, All-Conference four years, and started at the varsity level all four years...Also played football at Aragon.

Personal: A 1999 grad of Aragon High school...was an honor roll student...lists his hobbies as fishing and reading...lists favorite food as biscuits and gravy...favorite music is classic jazz...favorite athlete Ozzie Smith...also recruited by USC, Michigan, Long Beach State and Auburn...has two high school teammates playing college baseball...a business marketing major at Southeast...son of Walter E. Christian.
