2005: Started in 28 games as a freshman, playing in a total of 38...hit .278 with 10 doubles...second on the team with a .383 OBP...showed great patience at the plate, drawing 16 walks while striking out just 21 times...performed even better against conference foes as he hit .326...had best game against on May 8 against Morehead State, going 4-6 with two doubles, two RBIs, and three runs scored...Southeast Scholar Athlete.

Prep: A 2004 graduate of Chatom Glenwood High School...started and lettered in baseball all four years of high school...three year All-Conference selection...2004 Defensive MVP...2002 Hitting MVP...All-Conference selection in basketball.
