He will be responsible for working with the catchers and hitters.

Horton comes to Southeast after a standout career at LSU and Sacramento City College. He was on the National Championship team at LSU in 1996 and 1997 with current Indians Coach Jeremy Tyson.

Horton was the California Junior College Player of the Year in 1994 and his league MVP in 1995.

He played professionally in the Los Angeles Dodgers system in the California League, as well as in the Western Independent Baseball League.
