Southeast Missouri State University Athletics

Austin Spainhour enters his first year as volunteer assistant coach at Southeast Missouri.

Spainhour joins the Redhawks after spending two seasons as an assistant coach at Sacramento City College. His role there included coaching the catchers and assisting with the hitters. Spainhour played for the Panthers in 2014 and 2015. After his time at Sac City, he received a scholarship to play baseball at California State University, Monterey Bay, where he finished his college career.

Spainhour received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from California State University, Monterey Bay and is currently working towards his Master’s Degree from the United States Sports Academy.
