Prep: First-Team All-Conference selection at Valley Park High School…Hit a team-high .465 with 30 runs scored, 33 hits, 10 doubles, four triples, three home runs and 33 RBI as a senior…Also led the team in doubles and triples…Earned Most Valuable Player honors his final prep season…Boasted a .476 batting average with 27 runs scored, 49 hits, 16 doubles, two triples, a team-high six home runs and 63 RBI as a junior…Earned a Silver Slugger Award that year…Hit .410 with 25 RBI as a sophomore…Also played soccer and basketball.
