Located in the Holcomb Success Center
The Redhawks Sports Performance program, housed in the Holcomb Success Center ,is committed to developing the total student-athlete through a competitive training environment focused on both reducing the risk of injury and maximizing individual athletic potential. Southeast's weight room recently saw a complete renovation completed in early 2016. Indoor turf, weights, equipment and lifting platforms were added as part of the renovation at a cost of $500,000. The facility now has more space and equipment to handle Southeast's larger teams or multiple teams training at the same time.

The Redhawk Sports Performance program is dedicated to developing powerful and explosive student athletes through a comprehensive, year round program based on the specific needs of each sport.
The program looks to establish a culture that will develop the discipline, mental toughness, accountability, and physical attributes of the athletes individually and as a TEAM.
The trademark of our program will be our hands on coaching style. Just as the athletes are coached on the field, court, gym; they will be coached in the weight room

AREAS OF PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT
STRENGTH – DEVELOPED THROUGH GROUND BASED, MULTI JOINT MOVEMENTS. 
POWER – DEVELOPED THROUGH USE OF OLYMPIC LIFTS, SPRINTS, PLYOMETRICS, AND MEDICINE BALL THROWS
SPEED – DEVELOP THROUGH ACCELERATION TRAINING, RUNNING MECHANICS, AND MAX VELOCITY SPRINTING
AGILITY – DEVELOP THROUGH CHANGE OF DIRECTION
CONDITIONING – INCREASE CARDIOVASCULAR AND WORK CAPACITY BASED ON NEEDS OF SPORT
FLEXIBILITY/REGEN – DECREASE RISK OF INJURY THROUGH IMPROVED RANGE OF MOTION AND TISSUE QUALITY
NUTRITION – NOT LAST BUT AT BOTTOM, BECAUSE NUTRITION IS THE FOUNDATION FOR DEVELOPMENT. WE UTILIZE OUR FUELING STATION, AND EDUCATE OUR ATHLETES ON HOW TO EAT FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE.
