2024 Indoor: Threw at nine events…Competed in 16 events and placed in the top ten in 15 posted 11 top five performances…Threw for distances of 41' 9.25" (PR) and 55' 2.75" for the bronze and silver in the shot put and weight throw at the 2024 Redhawks Invite…Grabbed the silver medal and a distance of 57' 7.75" in weight throw at the Bellarmine Open…Achieved a new personal best distance of 60' 7.75" (4th) at the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic in the weight throw…Recorded marks 57' 10.5" and 59' 0.25" to place second and first in the weight throw in back-to-back weeks at the Samford Bulldog Invite and Open…Recorded ending marks of 60' 6.5" and 38' 3.5" in the weight throw and shot put for second and sixth at the Redhawks Invite…Ended the season at the Ohio Valley Indoor Championship standing alone atop the podium in the weight throw with a distance of 60' 0.25".
2023 Outdoor: Competed in all nine meets…Had 15 top-five finishes and 12 top-three finishes…Named female field athlete of the week a league best twice…Finished in third twice at the South Alabama Invitational, in the hammer throw 175’ 7” (53.53m) and in the discus, throwing for 156’ 6 (47.71m)...During the Mississippi State Bulldog Relays placed second with a throw of 159’ 7” (48.64m) in the discus throw and placed first in the hammer throw 183’ 10” (56.04m)...Set a PR in the Hammer throw at the Joey Haines Invitational placing fourth with a throw of 190’ 4” (58.02m) and placed third in the discus throw getting to the distance of 151’ 6” (46.19m)...Threw for a distance of 175’ 7” (53.53m) during the Joe Walker Invitational placing sixth in the hammer throw…At the Cougar Classic placed second in the discus throw 153’ 9” (46.87m) and placed third in the hammer throw with a throw of 174’ 3” (53.11m)...Finished in third place throwing for 160’ 0” (48.78m) at the Georgia Tech Invitational in the shot put…Recorded two fourth place finishes, in the discus throw and in the hammer throw with throws of 149’ 10” (45.67m) and 181’ 11” (55.45m) at the Memphis Tiger Invitational…At the Arkansas Twilight had a throw of 158’ 7” (48.34m) finishing in third place in the discus throw and placed second in the hammer throw with a throw of 180’ 8” (55.08m)...Recorded a new personal best in the shot put throwing for a distance of 41’ 1” (12.52m) placing ninth at the 2023 Outdoor OVC Championships. Also finished in third in the discus throw 153’ 8” (46.85m) and placed second in the hammer throw with a throw of 187’ 4” (57.09m).
2023 Indoor: Competed in eight meets…Had eight top-five finishes…To start the season at the Edmonds-Wilt Invitational set a PR in weight throw with a distance of (17.33m) 56’ 10.25’’ and placed second in the event…During the 2023 Redhawks Invite set a PR in the shot put with a score of (12.27m) 40’ 3.25’’ and placed third…In the weight throw event placed first with a distance of (17.27m) 56’ 8’’... At the 2023 Redhawks Open finished third in the weight throw with a distance of 58’ 11.25’’ (17.96m)... During the Indoor OVC championship she created a new PR in the weight throw while obtaining second place throwing for 60’ 5.75’’ (18.43m).
2022 Outdoor: Competed in nine meets…Posted seven top five throws during the season…Began her season with two second-place finishes in hammer and discus with a throw of 151’ 8” (46.23m) in HT and 144’ 3” (43.97m) in discus...Also tacked on an eighth-place finish with a 36’ 6.75” (11.14m) in the shot put at the Jaguar Opener…At the Redbird Challenge, she threw the hammer 176’ 0” (53.66m), the discus 137’ 5” (41.88m) and the shot put 36’ 11” (11.25) for second, third and 11th, respectively…Notched a third-place finish at the Memphis Tiger Invitational in the discus with a toss of 148’ 11” (45.38m)...Posted three PRs at the Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Championships, throwing the shot put 40’ 1.5” (12.23m) for an eighth-place finish, the discus 160’ 9” (49.01m) for a second-place finish and the hammer 181’ 10” (55.43m) for a fourth-place effort.
2022 Indoor: Competed in eight meets…Recorded four top five finishes…Opened the season with a PR in the weight throw (54’ 4”) (16.56m) for a third-place finish and a fifth-place shot put throw (36’ 7.75”) (11.17m) at the Fred Wilt Invitational…Posted two third-place finishes at the Redhawks Invite with a 54’ 4” (16.56m) in the weight throw and a 36’ 7.75” (11.17m) in the shot put…Took 10th in the weight throw and 14th in the shot put at the OVC Indoor Championships throwing 51’ 0.75” (15.56m) and 37’ 3” (11.35m).
2021 Indoor: Competed in four indoor meets…Finished in the top-four four times…Notched a personal best at the Samford Bulldog Open 2021 (2/13) in the shot put with a throw of 38-11.5 (11.87m, eighth)…Achieved another personal best at the Redhawks Open (2/20) in the weight throw with a mark of 50-11 (15.52m) for second…Was also second in the shot put (35-2.5, 10.73m).
2021 Outdoor: Competed in 10 meets…Had four top-five finishes…Placed third at the SIUC Bill Cornell Invite (3/19-20) in the discus with a mark of 147-2 (44.85m)…Achieved a personal best in discus at the 2021 Joey Haines Invite (4/2-3) with a throw of 160-8 (48.98m), which earned her fourth place at the event…At the 2021 OVC Championship (5/13-15), posted a personal-best hammer throw distance of 165-4 (50.40m) for eighth…Also represented the Redhawks in the discus (145-3, 44.28m, fifth) and shot put (35-1.75, 10.71m, 13th).
Prep: Attended East Prairie High School…Was a four-year letter winner in Track & Field…Competed in Discus and Shotput…Coached by Chad Jamerson, Jeremey Hanlin and Ryan Smith…Captured the Missouri Class 3 State Championship in discus as a junior…Finished as the runner-up at state in discus as a sophomore and placed fifth in her freshman season…Was an All-State performer all 4 years…Awarded the Top Point Earner Award, Outstanding Field Event Award at East Prairie…Also played basketball where she was recognized with the Blue Collar Award, Most Rebounds, Best Field Goal Percentage and earned All-District honors…Named to the High Honor Roll…Was a member of Student Council, Future Teachers of America (FTA), The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Science Olympiad and band…Graduated from East Prairie High School in 2020.
Personal: Born November 4, 2001… Daughter of Melvin and Bridgett Williams…Has two brothers who played football collegiately, M.C. Williams, who played at Missouri Valley College and Upper Iowa University and, Edward Williams, who played at Central Methodist University…Majoring in Mass Communications.
