Placed int he top 10 two times...Finished fifth in the mile at the 2025 Redhawks Invite with a time of 4:24.32...Set a career best in the mile at the Rick McGuire Invitational with a time of 4:09.55...Placed third in the 800-meters at the Don DeNoon Invite with a mark of 1:56.12...Finished 12th in the 800 and 15th in the mile at the OVC Championships.
2024 Cross Country: Ran in all six meets during the season…Scored points for the SEMO men once on the season…Started the season by posting a PR in 5k at the Redhawks Invitational placing 10th with a time of 15:56.7…At the UT Martin OVC Preview placed 25th running a time of 26:10.5 in the 8k race…Crossed the line at 26:34.3 in the 8k at the Gans Creek Classic…Placed 55th at the Angel Mounds Invitational in the 8k with a time of 25:52.1…During the OVC Championships ran a time of 27:02.7 in the 8k placing 67th…Ran a time of 35:07.4 in the 10k at the NCAA Midwest Regional.
2024 Outdoor: Competed in two meets…At the Cougar Classic placed third and fourth in the 1500-meter and 800-meter with times of 3:59.84 and 1:56.08…During the Memphis Tiger Invitational placed sixth in the 800-meter finishing with a time of 2:00.21 and 11th in the 1500-meter with a time of 4:11.22.
2024 Indoor: Ran in seven meets…Only placed outside of the top-ten twice and recorded ten top-five performances…Opened the season at the 2024 Redhawks Invite placing second in the mile (4:22.77) and eighth in the 800-meter with a time of 2:04.35…Recorded a personal best in the 1000-meter with a time of 2:33.15 placing fifth and finished with the gold medal in the 4x400 relay race crossing the line at 3:18.77 at the Bellarmine Open…Recorded two third place finishes during the Illini Challenge, one in the 800-meter with a time of 1:54.57 and the other one in the DMR with a time of 10:15.25…At the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic placed eighth with a time of 3:24.01 in the 4x400…Placed fifth in the 800-meter (1:55.78) and 4th in the 4x400-meter relay (3:19.17) at the Samford Bulldog Invite…In the mile race at the Samford Bulldog Open finished with a time of 4:19.41 placing fourth…During the 2024 Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championships picked up the bronze medal in the DMR with a time of 10:07.77 and placed sixth in the finals of the 800-meter crossing the line at 1:55.03.
2023 Cross Country: Competed in five meets…Placed in the SEMO top-five twice…Recorded his highest finish of the season at the Redhawks Invite placing third for the SEMO men and seventh overall, crossing the line in 19:17.4…During the John McNichols invite finished the 8k in 26:33.5 placing tenth overall and fifth for SEMO…Placed 158th at the Gans Creek Classic with a time of 26:53.4…On October 13 competed in the 8k at the Angel Mounds Invitational finishing the race in 56th place (26:45.2)...At the OVC Championships recorded his fastest 8k finish of the season with a time of 26:22.51 (70th).
2023 Outdoor: Ran at six meets…Posted top ten performances nine times…Achieved times of 3:30.37 (9th) and 7:47.75 (2nd) with his 4x400 and 4x800 teams at the Mississippi State Bulldog Relays…Chalked up the best time in the 1500 with a time of 4:03.52 and placed fifth in the 4x400 (3:24.91) at the Joey Haines Invite…Set a new personal best at Georgia Tech Invitational in the 800 for his time of 3:54.92 (20th) in the 1500…Recorded another new PR at the 2023 Billy Hayes Invitational when he ran the 800 in 1:52.55…Placed eighth in two events at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships in the 1500 (3:58.17) and the 800 (1:55.65).
2023 Indoor: Ran in six meets…Achieved top ten status in 11 events, including three first place finishes…The 2023 Redhawks invite was a huge success for Splitt as he earned first place in the mile with a time of 4:22.06, as well as being a part of the first place 4x400 team that ran a 3:28.27… The 4x400 team took fifth in the John Gartland Invitational with a time of 3:28.58… In the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic took fifth in the 800 with a time of 1:54.23… Another first place came, this time at the 2023 Hoosier Hills meet in the distance medley relay with a time of 10:39.65… In the OVC championship he placed eighth in the 800- meter with a run of 1:56.41 and sixth in the mile crossing the line at 4:14.47.
2022 Cross Country: Ran in all six meets…Placed in the SEMO top five all but once…Ran the 6k in 19:35.6 (20th) for a new PR while placing fifth in the SEMO men and the team placed second overall…At the McKendree Bearcat Classic helped the men’s team finish first overall when he crossed the line at 26:37.0 for 17th in the 8k…Finished with his highest SEMO finish at the Louisville Classic, running the 8k in 25:51.8 (219th) but third in the SEMO men…At the Bradley Pink Classic crossed the line at 25:33.0 (177th) for fourth in the SEMO men in the 8k…Qualified for the NCAA’s with his 8k time of 26:53.7 (40th) at the OVC Championship, placing fifth in the SEMO men..Ended his season with a new PR time of 33:41.2 (190th) in the 10k at the NCAA Division I Midwest Region Cross Country Championships.
2022 Outdoor: Competed in six meets…Had eight top-five finishes…Completed the 800 meters in 1:55.05 (ninth) and finished the 4x400 meter relay in 3:21.35 for fourth at the 2022 Joey Haines (4/1-2) in 4:44.24…Took fourth in both the 800 meters (1:58.25) and 1,500 meters (3:58.07) at the Memphis Tiger Invitational (4/29-30)…Also was fifth in the 4x400 meter relay (3:32.49)… Finished fourth in both the 800 meters (1:54.31) and 1,500 meters (3:56.30, PR) at the 2022 OVC Indoor Track & Field Championships (2/23-24) to score for the Redhawks…Set a PR in the 800 meters of 1:53.13 during the preliminaries.
2022 Indoor: Ran in five meets…Had eight top-five finishes…Finished second in both the mile (4:26.29) and 4x400 meter relay (3:35.37) at the 2022 Redhawks Invite (1/15)…Also was fourth in the 800 meters in 2:00.09…Won the DMR in 11:11.55 at the John Gartland Invitational (1/21-22)…Then was fourth in the DMR in 10:24.54 at the 2022 Indiana University Relays (1/28-29)…Finished fourth in the mile in a personal best 4:12.63 at the 2022 OVC Indoor Track & Field Championships (2/23-24)…Also was sixth in the 800 meters in 1:55.07 to add to the Redhawks team total.
2021 Cross Country: Competed in six meets in the Fall of 2021…Set a personal best at the Soybean Invitational in the men’s 4M, finishing in 20:47.6 (19th)…Completed the men’s 8K in 25:55.3 (62nd) at the Louisville Classic, setting a new personal best…Competed at the ISU Redbird Invitational (25:57.8, 50th), the Golden Eagle Invitational (26:28.4, 13th), and the OVC Championship (27:08.2, 48th)…Set a personal best in the men’s 10K at the NCAA Division I Midwest Region Cross Country Championships finishing in a final time of 36:55.9 (197th).
2021 Outdoor: Ran in eight meets…Had nine top-10 finishes…Made SEMO outdoor debut at the Southern Illinois Bill Cornell Invite (3/19-20), taking third in the 3,000 meter steeplechase in 10:12.12…Also completed the 4x400 meter relay in 3:37.97 (eighth)…Was first in the 4x800 meter relay (8:30.13) and third in the 4x1,500 meter relay (17:09.39) at the Tennessee Relays (4/8-10)…Also ran in the 1,500 meters (4:10.90, 33rd)…Finished fourth in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a personal-best time of 10:03.78 at the Vanderbilt Black & Gold Invitational (4/16-17)…Notched PRs in the 1,500 meters (4:00.65, 25th) and 3,000 meters (9:28.01, 18th) at the 2021 Kentucky Invitational (4/30-5/1)…Ran in the prelims for the 1,500 meters (4:03.78) and 800 meters (1:56.16, PR) at the 2021 OVC Track & Field Championship (5/13-15).
