2019 Outdoor: Named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2018 Outdoor: Appeared in 11 meets…Won the hammer throw with a distance of 189-7 (57.80m) at the South Alabama Jaguar Opener (3/2-3)…Finished second in the same event at the Rhodes Invitational (3/16-17) with 182-6 (55.62m), the Mississippi State Bulldog Relays (3/23-24) with a mark of 199-2 (60.71m) and the 2018 Drury Hotels Joey Haines Invitational (3/30-31, 195-10, 59.69m)…Won hammer (189-10, 57.87m) and placed third in both discus (50-2.75, 15.31m) and shot put (155-8, 47.45m) at the SLU Billiken Invitational (4/6-7)…Finished third in hammer (193-9, 59.05m) and fourth in shot put (49-6.25, 15.09m) at the Joe Walker Invite (4/13-14)…Was second in hammer at the Memphis Tiger Invitational (4/27-28) with a throw of 192-3 (58.59)…Also registered a PR in discus of 158-6, 48.32m…Placed second in hammer at the Arkansas Twilight (5/4) with a personal-best mark of 201-2 (61.32m)…Earned silver in hammer at the Ohio Valley Outdoor Track and Field Championships (5/10-12) with a distance of 200-6 (61.12m)…Also finished fifth in discus (153-9, 46.87m) and sixth in shot put (51-1, 15.57m)…Tallied a mark of 196-0 (59.75m, 30th) at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field West Preliminary (5/24-26)...Earned the prestigious OVC Scholar-Athlete Award for 2018-19.

2018 Indoor: Appeared in six meets...Set career-bests in the shot put (53' 8.25", 16.36m, 5th) and weight throw (57' 2.25", 17.43m, 7th) at the OVC Indoor Track & Field Championships (2/23-24)...Placed second in shot put (48' 10", 14.88m) and weight throw (56' 7.5", 17.26m) at the SEMO vs. SIUE Dual Meet (12/8/17).

2017 Outdoor: Appeared in nine meets...Had nine top-five finishes and 20 top-10 finishes...Took third in the shot put (50’ 5.5”) at the Jaguar Opener (3/3)...Won the hammer throw (176’ 0”) at the 2017 Rhodes Invitational (3/17)...Set a personal-best in discus at the 2017 Drury Hotels Joey Haines Invite (3/31) with a throw of 158’ 3” for 12th...Placed second in hammer throw (185’ 11”) at the Georgia Tech Invitational (4/21)...Added a personal-best in hammer throw (189’ 7”, third all-time in SEMO History) at the Memphis Invitational 2017 (4/28)...Won bronze in hammer throw (183’ 7”) at the OVC Championship (5/11)...Also placed fifth in discus (157’ 0”) and sixth in shot put (51’ 9”)...Earned the OVC Academic Medal of Honor for a perfect 4.0 GPA...Named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
2017 Indoor: Competed in seven meets...Had seven top-five finishes...Took second in weight throw (49’ 6.25”) and third in shot put (47’ 0.75”) at the SEMO vs. SIU-Edwardsville Dual (12/9)...Finished fourth in weight throw (53’ 5.75”) and shot put (49’ 8.5”) at the Missouri Invitational (1/20)...Recorded a career-best shot put (52’ 4”) for fifth at the 2017 Redhawks Invite (2/17)...Also took third in weight throw with 54’ 10.25”...Finished fourth in weight throw (56’ 4.75”) and ninth in shot put (51’ 9.25”) at the OVC Championship (2/24).

2016 Outdoor: Made appearances at nine meets...Recorded 13 top-10 finishes... Opened season with two second-place efforts at Rhodes Invitational in the shot put (14.00m) and hammer throw (53.03m)...Earned new PR in shot put 15.09m (49’6.25”)...Set personal bests in discus at 45.62m and hammer at 54.52m (8th all-time; 179’ 2”)...Finished sixth in hammer throw and seventh in discus at the OVC Championships...Was named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll and also awarded the OVC Medal of Honor.

2016 Indoor: Appeared in eight meets...Recorded seven top-five finishes...Set personel best 14.69m (48’2.5”) in shot put at the SEMO vs. SIUE Dual meet with second-place finish...The following week set personal best in weight throw (17.09m; 56’1”) at the Meyo Invitational...Took Bronze in weight throw at OVC Championships.

Prep: Conference Champion in shot put for 2014-2015...Two time All-State shot put, All-State discus, two time All-Metro Conference shot put, two time All-Metro Conference discus...Holds school record for shot put (57’ 3.5)...Academic All-State and All-Metro Conference...Southeast Missouri Regents’ Scholar...Also played football.

Personal: Born April 3, 1997...Son of Steve Zagurski and Suzan Werner...Studies Environmental Science at Southeast Missouri.
