Southeast Missouri soccer team continues its road stretch against two power-conference teams. The Redhawks will battle with in-state foe Missouri Friday before traveling to Oklahoma to compete with Big 12 Conference member Oklahoma State Sunday.
SERIES HISTORY
Missouri
The Redhawks and Tigers have met five times in the past and SEMO is looking for its first win. SEMO and Missouri last played in 2024 when the tigers hosted SEMO and won 5-0. The two teams met three seasons in a row from 2022-24 and the series dates back to 2007.
Cowgirls
This will be the first matchup between SEMO and Oklahoma State.
Last Time Out
SEMO picked up its first draw of the season on the road at Missouri State. The game ended 0-0 despite both teams having multiple opportunities to find the back of the net. The Bears were awarded a penalty kick in the second half after a coach's challenge, but the Bears missed the penalty kick over the crossbar. SEMO had a golden chance when Taylor Cassidy put a shot on target that was saved, but the Redhawks couldn't put the rebound on target.
SEMO also travelled to North Alabama and fell 2-1. The Redhawks took an early lead from Rachel Kretzer when she scored off an assist from Riley Henderson, before being held without a shot for the rest of the match. The Lions equalized the match in the first half, which was the first first-half goal conceded by the Redhawks this season and took the lead on a free kick in the second half.

Natalie Allison picked up her second shutout of the season against Missouri State when she made five saves. In her first season as a division 1 goalkeeper, she ranks in the top 100 in the nation in save percentage (63rd, .883), saves per game (51st, 5.0), shutouts (38th, 2) and total saves (81st, 20). She also leads the OVC in save percentage.
The First
Rachel Kretzer's goal against North Alabama was the first goal of her collegiate career. She had an assist in her freshman campaign, but she found the back of the net for the first time on Sunday. She tapped in a rebound from Riley Henderson who put a shot off the crossbar and scored.
