OVC Announces 2026-27 Basketball Schedule

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Ohio Valley Conference released its conference basketball schedule for the 2026-27 season Friday.
SEMO's men's and women's teams will play a 16-game OVC schedule with eight games at home and eight on the road.
The Redhawks tip off the league season at Eastern Illinois on Dec. 31 and welcome Southern Indiana (Jan. 2) for their OVC home-opener.
SEMO will host Western Illinois (Jan. 9), EIU (Jan. 21), Tennessee State (Jan. 23), UT Martin (Feb. 11), SIU Edwardsville (Feb. 13), Lindenwood (Men on Feb. 17; Women on Feb. 18) and Morehead State (Feb. 27) in the rest of its home matchups.
This year's OVC road slate has SEMO at UTM on Jan. 7, LU on Jan. 14, SIUE on Jan. 16, WIU on Jan. 28, MSU on Feb. 4, USI on Feb. 6 and TSU on Feb. 27.
The 2027 OVC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships will be held Mar. 3-6 at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. It marks the 10th-straight year the event will be held at the venue.
