Volleyball Falls in Exhibition Match

SAINT LOUIS, Mo. – The Southeast Missouri volleyball team lost its first competition of the 2026 season.
Saint Louis University defeated the Redhawks 3-2 in a five-set exhibition match.
SEMO won a marathon of a first set 31-29 before the Billikens took set two 25-23 and set three 25-11. The Redhawks bounced back in the fourth winning 25-21 before falling in a close fifth set 16-14.
Notable preformances from the Redhawks include Alaina Lester with 11 kills and three blocks, Reagan Nelson added 10 kills, three assists and one ace. Lucy Arndt and Marin Johnson each added eight kills.
The Redhawks will host an intersquad match Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in Houck Field House.
