
Brooke Hengst Hired as Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance & Eligibility

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Brooke Hengst was hired as Southeast Missouri's Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance & Eligibility.
Hengst spent the last seven years as Coordinator of Student-Athlete Development and Associate Director of Academics and Student-Athlete Development in SEMO's Athletic Academic Services department.
"I am honored to be named the Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance & Eligibility. SEMO has been my home for the past 16 years and I'm excited to use my experience as a student, coach and staff member to represent the Department of Athletics," said Hengst. "I look forward to this next chapter in my career and am committed to doing my part to ensure that SEMO remains the premier athletics department in the Ohio Valley Conference."
Hengst began her career at SEMO in August 2015 when she was named the Director of Women's Basketball Operations, a position she held until August 2019 when she moved to Academic Services. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from SEMO in May 2014 with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting major, Finance minor). Hengst also earned a Master of Arts in Higher Education from SEMO in 2017.
