Stinson Named OVC Pitcher of the Week

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri senior Elliott Stinson was named Ohio Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week for the first time in her career Monday.
A native of Rushville, Illinois, Stinson went 1-0, threw 11.1 scoreless innings and combined on two shutouts in SEMO's sweep of Tennessee Tech (May 1-2). She had a 0.00 earned run average in two starts and struck out a career-high eight in game two of the series. Stinson also tossed 5.2 no-hit innings against the Golden Eagles on May 1.
Stinson joined Eastern Illinois' Lexie Griffin (Player of the Week) as the league's final weekly honorees in 2026.
