Redhawks Face Saint Louis Wednesday
• Southeast Missouri (12-21) heads to Saint Louis (16-20) for a midweek matchup Wednesday. First pitch is set for 5 p.m., CT at the Billiken Sports Center.
• SEMO initially had a home-and-home set of midweek contests scheduled this 2026 season.
• The first meeting between the teams on Mar. 11 in Cape Girardeau was canceled due to inclement weather.

• Wednesday marks the 105th game between Southeast Missouri and Saint Louis on the softball diamond.
• SEMO holds a 76-28 lead in the all-time series that began in 1981.

Affolter on a Roll
• Left fielder Brittany Affolter is on a six-game hitting streak heading into Wednesday's game at Saint Louis.
• Affolter hit .421 (8-for-19) with 11 runs scored, three doubles, a triple, one home run, four RBI. four walks and three stolen bases in that span.
• Most recently, she hit .400 in Southeast Missouri's series win at SIU Edwardsville (Apr. 3-4).
• Affolter hit a two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning after SIUE pulled within a run during game two of the Redhawks doubleheader sweep on Apr. 3.
• It was just her second career home run and first since Apr. 13, 2025 (vs. Morehead State).
Getting on Base
• Kamden Hutton reached base in nine of her 12 plate appearances over three starts at SIU Edwardsville (Apr. 3-4).
• Hutton got on base in seven of her first eight trips to the plate.
• For the series, she had four hits, scored five runs and walked five times.

Shore Notches Series-High in Hits
• Aubrie Shore collected a series-high six hits at SIU Edwardsville (Apr. 3-4).
• Shore hit .545 (6-for-11) with a run scored and three RBI in the series.
• She had three hits in each of the first two games against the Cougars and posted multiple-hits in three of her last four starts.
• Shore is tied for first on the team with eight multi-hit games this year.
• She increased her batting average by 41 points from .258 to .299 in her last three games alone.
Van Haren Wins Again
• Willow Van Haren picked up her second win in a row when she pitched a complete six-inning game with four strikeouts and just one run on two hits allowed at SIU Edwardsville (Apr. 3).
• Van Haren retired the first eight hitters she faced and threw 1-2-3 innings in the first, second and fourth.
• She threw her fourth complete game of the season and became the third Southeast Missouri pitcher to get three wins in 2026.
Redhawks Lead OVC in Fielding Percentage
• Southeast Missouri leads the Ohio Valley Conference with a .968 fielding percentage.
• SEMO committed a league low 28 errors through 33 games.
• The Redhawks went without an error in 15 games this season and did not have an error in each of their last five contests.
Starting Streak
• Addy Martinie has started 40-consecutive games dating back to the 2025 season.
• Martinie is the only player who started every game this year.
• She made 28 of her starts at shortstop.
Shore Now Seventh in Career RBI
• Aubrie Shore is now seventh among Southeast Missouri's all-time career leaders in RBI.
• Shore has 111 RBI and is tied with Kim Palmer (1996-98) for that spot.
• She ranks third on the team with 11 RBI through 29 starts this season.
Van Haren Clears 100 Career Strikeouts
• Willow Van Haren became the second Southeast Missouri pitcher to go over 100 career strikeouts in 2026.
• Van Haren officially got her 100th strikeout against SIU Edwardsville when she fanned Kaylin Fahy in the bottom of the fifth inning on Apr. 4.
• She currently has 102 strikeouts in 130 innings through 53 appearances and 21 starts as a Redhawk.
• Van Haren tied a career-high seven strikeouts when she beat Tennessee State on Mar. 29.
About Saint Louis
• Saint Louis is currently fourth in the Atlantic 10 Conference behind Loyola-Chicago, Saint Joseph's and Dayton.
• SLU recently had a three-game series against Fordham shortened to a doubleheader due to weather on Apr. 3.
• The Billikens split the twin bill with a 4-1 win in game two.
