Redhawks Head to Southern Indiana
•    Southeast Missouri (6-18, 2-3) travels to Southern Indiana (8-15, 5-1) this weekend. SEMO and USI will play a single game at 4 p.m. Saturday followed by a 12 p.m., CT doubleheader Sunday.
•    SEMO closes out an eight-game road stretch, which started with a doubleheader at #12 Mississippi State on Mar. 10.

Series Notes
•    Southeast Missouri is 24-4 all-time against Southern Indiana.
•    SEMO is 7-2 against the Screaming Eagles in Evansville.
•    The Redhawks took two of three against USI in Cape Girardeau last season.

Redburn vs. Southern Indiana
•    Mark Redburn is 6-3 against Southern Indiana as Southeast Missouri's head coach.
•    Redburn posted series wins over the Screaming Eagles during two of the last three years.

Been a Long Time
•    Southeast Missouri is the only Ohio Valley Conference team that has not played on its home field yet this season.
•    SEMO is 24 games into the 2026 campaign and is now scheduled to play at the Southeast Softball Complex for the first time this year when it hosts Tennessee State (Mar. 28-29).
•    The Redhawks were initially supposed to host Western Illinois on Mar. 7-8, but the teams ended up playing a doubleheader in Marion, Illinois due to rain in the Cape Girardeau area.

Shore Has Nice Week
•    Aubrie Shore hit .500 in six games during the Redhawks spring break last week.
•    Shore went 8-for-16 with two runs scored, a double, two walks and five RBI. 
•    She posted a .556 on-base percentage and .563 slugging percentage, as well.
•    Shore began the week by going a perfect 5-for-5 in a doubleheader sweep of Western Illinois (Mar. 9).

300 Wins in Sight
•    Mark Redburn is just one win away from reaching 300 as Southeast Missouri's head coach.
•    Redburn took over the helm in 2015 and has a record of 299-248 during his SEMO tenure.
•    Combined, Redburn has 389 victories between his NCAA Division I coaching stops at SEMO (299) and Evansville (90).

Winkler Playing Strong
•    Madison Winkler has hit safely in 10 of her last 13 games. 
•    Winkler also reached base in 27 of her previous 30 contests dating back to May 4, 2025.
•    She got a hit in 18 of her 23 starts this season.
•    Winkler reached on a walk in two of her starts.
•    She is hitting a team-high .352 and boasts a team-best .395 on-base percentage this season.

Starting Streak
•    Addy Martinie has started 31-consecutive games dating back to the 2025 season.
•    Martinie is the only player who started every game this year.
•    She made 22 of her starts at shortstop.

Carney Approaching 100 Career Strikeouts
•    Maddie Carney is nine strikeouts away from reaching 100 in her career.
•    Carney currently has 91 strikeouts in her three-year career with the Redhawks.
•    She has a team-high 25 strikeouts in 57.1 innings over 13 appearances and 12 starts this season.

Back-to-Back Home Runs 
•    Southeast Missouri's two runs against UT Martin came on the long ball.
•    Lily Delmain and Lilly Blagoue hit back-to-back solo home runs in the top of the sixth inning during game two of SEMO's doubleheader against the Skyhawks on Mar. 14.
•    At the time, the home runs made it a one-run game.
•    For Delmain, it was the first round-tripper of her career, while Blagoue hit her second this season.

Redhawks Tied for First in the OVC in Fielding Percentage
•    Southeast Missouri enters the weekend tied for first in the Ohio Valley Conference with a .966 fielding percentage.
•    SEMO committed a league-low 20 errors through 24 games this year.

About Southern Indiana
•    Southern Indiana, currently third in the Ohio Valley Conference standings, has won five of its last six games.
•    USI is coming off a series win over Western Illinois (Mar. 13-14).
•    The Screaming Eagles are last in the OVC in fielding with a .944 percentage and 36 errors.
•    Caroline Stapleton leads USI with a .359 batting average.
