CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri gymnast
Taylor Ingle picked up her fifth-straight Midwest Independent Conference 'Gymnast of the Week' honor, the league announced on Wednesday morning.
Ingle, a native of Coppell, Texas, has now received the award for the seventh time this season after competing in her 24
th-straight all-around dating back to the 2025 season. Taylor recorded a 39.125 in the all-around competing against gymnasts from Iowa, Central Michigan, and Northern Illinois last Friday night.
Ingle scored a 9.825 on vault (T-5), 9.750 on bars (T-11), 9.725 on beam (T-9
th), and a 9.825 on floor (T-8
th) in the meet as she placed fourth in the all-around.
Heading into the final week of the regular season, Taylor has an National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 39.050 in the all-around as she looks to make her second-straight NCAA Regional after competing in the Tuscaloosa Regional in 2025 in the all-around.
Gymhawks
The Gymhawks will wrap the 2026 regular season this weekend with a double meet weekend beginning on Friday, March 13, at Arizona. They will then compete on Sunday, March 15, at Arizona State. The meets are slated to begin at 8 p.m., CDT. And 4 p.m., CDT, respectively.
