Redhawks Host Southern Indiana
•   Southeast Missouri (14-10, 9-4) plays host to Southern Indiana (5-18, 2-11) Saturday. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:45 p.m., CT at the Show Me Center.
•   SEMO will close out its second-to-last home stand of the season against the Screaming Eagles.
•   The Redhawks are on a two-game home winning streak and are 4-2 against Ohio Valley Conference foes on their home court.
Series Notes
•   Southeast Missouri and Southern Indiana hook up for the ninth time on the back end of their home-and-home series this season.
•   SEMO holds a 7-1 lead in the all-time series and has won each of the last six matchups between the teams.
•   The Redhawks won the first meeting this year with an 84-76 victory in Evansville, Indiana on Jan. 8.
•   SEMO goes for its third-straight season sweep of the Screaming Eagles.
Hot, Hot, Hot
•   The Redhawks are on a season-long five-game winning streak as presently the hottest team in the Ohio Valley Conference.
•   SEMO upended OVC leader UT Martin, 66-50, on Jan. 20 and second-place Little Rock, 70-65, on Jan. 22.
•   The Redhawks snapped UTM's seven-game winning streak and ended LR's four-game winning streak.
•   SEMO followed that up by handing Western Illinois its 11th-straight loss with a score of 78-74 on Jan. 29 and took down Eastern Illinois, 77-59, on Jan. 31.
•   Most recently, the Redhawks beat Morehead State, 82-70, for their first February win on Feb. 5.
Second Half of OVC Play Underway
•   Southeast Missouri began the second half of Ohio Valley Conference play with road wins at Western Illinois (78-74, Jan. 29) and Eastern Illinois (77-59, Jan. 31).
•   It marked the third time SEMO started the second half of league action with a victory under Head Coach Brad Korn.
•   The Redhawks are 3-0 to start the second portion of their conference schedule for the second year in a row.
•   SEMO won its first nine games during the second half of OVC play in 2024-25.
•   The Redhawks went 6-4 through their first 10 games of the OVC slate this season.
•   It was the second-straight season where SEMO finished with a winning record during the first half of league action.
•   The Redhawks posted a winning record through the opening half of OVC play for the third time in six years with Brad Korn as head coach.
Korn vs. Southern Indiana
•   Brad Korn is 6-1 against Southern Indiana as Southeast Missouri's head coach.
•   Korn is 3-0 vs. the Screaming Eagles at the Show Me Center.Â
•   His only loss to USI was in Evansville, Indiana on Dec. 29, 2022 (86-81).
Last Time vs. Southern Indiana
•   Brendan Terry scored a career-high 30 points off the bench to lead Southeast Missouri to an 84-76 win over Southern Indiana on Jan. 8 at Liberty Arena.
•   At the time, that win put SEMO first-place tie in the Ohio Valley Conference standings.
•   The Redhawks shot a season-best 57.4 percent (31-of-54) from the field to go along with a season-high 50 percent (7-of-14) from 3-point range in that game.
•   Terry (30) and Luke Almodovar (19) combined for 49 of SEMO's 54 points off the bench.
Two Sweeps
•   The Redhawks go after their third series sweep of an Ohio Valley Conference when Southern Indiana comes to Cape Girardeau Saturday.
•   Southeast Missouri swept both Western Illinois and Eastern Illinois in home-and-home series between the teams this season.
•   SEMO's wins at WIU (Jan. 29) and EIU (Jan. 31) gave Brad Korn his first road sweep of the Leathernecks and Panthers in his head coaching career.
Redhawks Take Down Morehead State
•   Southeast Missouri led for all but 11 seconds of the game en route to its 82-70 victory over Morehead State (Feb. 5).Â
•   SEMO had four starters with double figures in the scoring column led by BJ Ward's game-high 21 points.
•   For the game, the Redhawks shot 50.9 percent (29-of-57) from the field, 45 percent (9-of-20) from downtown and outrebounded MSU, 30-25.
•   SEMO split its two games against Morehead State this season after dropping a close 71-69 contest in Morehead on Jan. 10.
•   The victory also gave Brad Korn his first home win over MSU in his career. Prior to that victory, Korn was 0-5 against the Eagles at the Show Me Center.
Redhawks Tied for Second in the OVC
•   Following Thursday's win over Morehead State, Southeast Missouri remained in a tie for second in the Ohio Valley Conference standings.
•   SEMO and Tennessee State share that spot with 9-4 records behind UT Martin (11-2).
•   Lindenwood (9-5), SIU Edwardsville (8-5) and Morehead State (8-5) round out the top six spots.
First Double-Double for Stacker
•   Braxton Stacker scored 17 points and had 10 rebounds for his first career double-double against Morehead State (Feb. 5).
•   Stacker shot 7-of-13 from the field, made a pair of 3-pointers and went 1-of-2 at the free throw line.
•   His 10 rebounds marked a new career-high.
•   Stacker is the fourth Redhawk to get a double-double this season joining Marqueas Bell, Brendan Terry and Luke Almodovar.
Closing in on 10 OVC Wins
•   A win over Southern Indiana will give Southeast Missouri its 10th Ohio Valley Conference win this season.
•   SEMO has won 10 or more OVC games with Brad Korn as its head coach in 2022-23 (10-8) and 2024-25 (15-5).
•   The 15 OVC wins last season were a SEMO program record.
