CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. –  Clara Billing and Sullivan Gleason were named OVC Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.

Billing earned the Female Field Athlete of the Week; Gleason was selected for Co-Male Field Athlete of the Week, shared with Deshawn Roberts from Little Rock. 

Billing, a senior from Rudbucksskolan, Sweden, earned this honor after winning the pole vault event at the Missouri Invitational. She cleared 13-5.25 which was a new season high and extends her lead at the top of the OVC.  

Gleason, a graduate student from O'Fallon, was cited after also winning the pole vault at the Missouri Invitational. His mark of 17-0.75 (5.20m) was not only a career best mark but it tied the school record for the event. 

The Redhawks return to the track Friday and Saturday for the Heartland Invitational in Indianapolis, Indiana.
