Redhawks Open Four-Game Road Trip
• Southeast Missouri (15-10, 10-4) starts its longest road trip of the season when it visits SIU Edwardsville (16-9, 9-5) Thursday. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m., CT at First Community Arena.
• Thursday marks the first of four-straight road games for the Redhawks.
• SEMO also travels to Lindenwood (Feb. 14), UT Martin (Feb. 17) and Little Rock (Feb. 21) during that stretch.
• The Redhawks are on the road for four of their final six games of the regular-season.

• Thursday is the 46th meeting between Southeast Missouri and SIU Edwardsville.
• SEMO holds a 29-16 lead in the all-time series.
• The Redhawks won nine of the last 13 games of the series.

Hot, Hot, Hot
• The Redhawks are on a season-long six-game winning streak as presently the hottest team in the Ohio Valley Conference.
• SEMO upended OVC leader UT Martin, 66-50, on Jan. 20 and second-place Little Rock, 70-65, on Jan. 22.
• The Redhawks snapped UTM's seven-game winning streak and ended LR's four-game winning streak.
• SEMO followed that up by handing Western Illinois its 11th-straight loss with a score of 78-74 on Jan. 29 and took down Eastern Illinois, 77-59, on Jan. 31.
• The Redhawks then beat Morehead State, 82-70, on Feb. 5 and Southern Indiana, 90-65, on Feb. 7 for their first two February victories.
Second Half of OVC Play Underway
• Southeast Missouri began the second half of Ohio Valley Conference play with a road sweep of Western Illinois (78-74, Jan. 29) and Eastern Illinois (77-59, Jan. 31) and a home sweep of Morehead State (82-70, Feb. 5) and Southern Indiana (90-65, Feb. 7).
• It marked the third time SEMO started the second half of league action with a victory under Head Coach Brad Korn.
• The Redhawks are 4-0 to start the second portion of their conference schedule for the second year in a row.
• SEMO won its first nine games during the second half of OVC play in 2024-25.
• The Redhawks went 6-4 through their first 10 games of the OVC slate this season.
• It was the second-straight season where SEMO finished with a winning record during the first half of league action.
• The Redhawks posted a winning record through the opening half of OVC play for the third time in six years with Brad Korn as head coach.

Last Time vs. SIUE
• SIU Edwardsville held Southeast Missouri to a season-low 55 points in a 68-55 win over the Redhawks in the first meeting between the teams on Jan. 17.
• SIUE used a 17-5 run to build a 31-12 lead and led, 43-21, at half.
• SEMO shot over 52 percent (12-of-23) and outscored the Cougars, 34-25, in the second half, but it wasn't enough.
• Luke Almodovar returned to the starting lineup in that game and topped the Redhawks with 14 points.

• Luke Almodovar had one of the best dunks of the year when he threw down a thunderous one-handed slam on a fast break against Southern Indiana (Feb. 7).
• Almodovar, who is left-handed, dunked with his right hand to give Southeast Missouri a 67-49 lead with 8:59 left to play.
• The highlight quickly went viral and landed on ESPN SportsCenter. It was also the #3 play on the network's Top 10 plays.
Three Sweeps
• The Redhawks have three sweeps of Ohio Valley Conference foes this season.
• Southeast Missouri swept Western Illinois, Eastern Illinois and Southern Indiana in home-and-home series.
• SEMO's wins at WIU (Jan. 29) and EIU (Jan. 31) gave Brad Korn his first road sweep of the Leathernecks and Panthers in his head coaching career.
Redhawks Second in the OVC
• Southeast Missouri is tied for second in the Ohio Valley Conference standings with Tennessee State.
• Both SEMO and TSU have 10-4 records behind OVC leader UT Martin (11-3).
• SIU Edwardsville, Lindenwood and Morehead State are close behind with 9-5 records.
• The Redhawks have pivotal road matchups with SIUE (Feb. 12), Lindenwood (Feb. 14) and UT Martin (Feb. 17) in their next three contests.
Season-High in Free Throws
• The Redhawks made a season-high 28-of-32 free throws in their latest win over Southern Indiana (Feb. 7).
• Southeast Missouri outscored USI by a +12 margin (28-16) at the charity stripe.
• It was the most free throws SEMO made in a game since it finished with 34-of-42 in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament vs. Tennessee State on Mar. 2, 2023.
10 OVC Wins
• The Redhawks picked up their 10th Ohio Valley Conference win with their 25-point drubbing of Southern Indiana (90-65, Feb. 7).
• For the third time, Southeast Missouri has won 10 or more OVC games with Brad Korn as its head coach.
• SEMO also went 10-8 in 2022-23 and 15-5 in 2024-25 against league opponents.
• The 15 OVC wins last season were a SEMO program record.
• SEMO (10-4), UT Martin (11-3) and Tennessee State (10-4) are the three teams with 10 or more conference wins thus far.
About SIUE
• SIU Edwardsville is on a three-game winning streak and is right behind Southeast Missouri in the Ohio Valley Conference standings with a 9-5 league record.
• The Cougars were the last team to beat SEMO on Jan. 17. SEMO has won its last six in a row since then.
• SIUE ranks second in the OVC in scoring defense allowing 64.6 points per game. The Cougars are also the league's second-best 3-point shooting team at 34.7 percent.
• Jack Champion leads the OVC with 126 assists and Arnas Sakenis tops the league with 53 blocks.
