Gymhawks Post 192.800 in Season Opener Friday Night

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri Gymnastics kicked off the 2026 campaign posting a 192.800 at the SEMO Tri-Meet on Friday night at the Show Me Center.
Senior Taylor Ingle was the lone Gymhawk who competed in the all-around as she posted a 38.700 in her 17thconsecutive meet dating back to 2025 in the all-around. Her score was headlined by an impressive 9.875 on the bars in rotation two.

- SEMO posted their highest rotation score of the evening on the bars with a 48.750, taking a running score of 95.975 into the third rotation
- Junior Amelia May recorded a career-high 9.650 in the second spot of the lineup
- Kailyn Hamilton's 9.700 in spot three sparked four-straight bars scores of 9.700 or higher to close the rotation
- Sophomore Gracie Jones (9.725), junior Ava Johnston (9.800), and senior Taylor Ingle (9.875) closed out rotation two
Beam
- The Gymhawks scored a 48.325 as a squad on the third rotation of the evening and carried a 144.300 into the final rotation of the evening
- Nyah Reader paced the Gymhawks from the leadoff spot, posting a 9.800
- Sophomore Reagan Sams made her SEMO debut on the beam, turning in a 9.800 of her own at spot four of the lineup
- Jaidan Kossuth continued her strong evening with a 9.700 in spot five
- Freshman Kennedy Fisher made her collegiate debut in spot two with a 9.400
- Senior Ailey Kuehn turned in a solid 9.625 from spot three
Floor
- SEMO scored their second highest rotation score in the final rotation of the evening with a 48.500 on the floor, securing a 192.800.
- Senior Kailyn Hamilton turned in a solid 9.675 in the second spot of the rotation
- Sophomore Anna Lee Phillips performed a solid routine going for a 9.600 in spot three
- Nyah Reader and Taylor Ingle finished the rotation at spot five and six, respectively, each turning in a 9.850
