Redhawks Wrap Up Day One of NCAA Regionals

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. - Southeast Missouri track and field wrapped up day one of the NCAA West Preliminary Round, as Paden Lewis, Josiah Kilgore, Luke Hatfield Jackson, and Sullivan Gleason competed in their respective events.

Clara Billing will be the lone Redhawk competing tomorrow during day two of regionals. She competes in the pole vault at 5:30 p.m., CST.

Day One Results
Paden Lewis' only throw accounted for a distance of 201' 0" for 33rd in the hammer throw. Lewis also achieved a distance of  59' 4.25" in the shot put for 23rd place.

Josiah Kilgore threw the javelin for a final distance of 189' 4" (42nd), for his fifth best throw of the season.

Luke Hatfield Jackson jumped across 24' 3" of sand, good enough for 22nd, besting 24 other athletes.

Sullivan Gleason cleared a height of 16' 5.5" in the pole vault to post a finish in 33rd.
