Ingle Set for 2025 NCAA Gymnastics Regional Friday Afternoon

Taylor Ingle will represent Southeast Missouri Gymnastics on Friday, April 4, at the 2025 NCAA Gymnastics Regional Championships in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The competition is slated to begin at 1 p.m., CT. from Coleman Coliseum.Â

Who's There?Â
The Tuscaloosa Regional features the host and 11-seed Alabama, California, North Carolina, and Iowa as the four teams will battle for a spot in the regional final on Saturday afternoon. Alabama concluded the season ranked 12
th, California ranked sixth, North Carolina ranked 22
nd, and Iowa just behind them at 23
rd.

The Plan
Ingle will rotate with the University of Iowa when the competition gets underway on Friday afternoon. The junior will start on the beam with the Hawkeyes and will rotate to the floor, vault, and conclude on bars.Â

History Made
Taylor Ingle has written her name into the Southeast Missouri Gymnastics record books becoming just the first Gymhawk to qualify for the NCAA Regionals in Gymnastics since Alexis Brawner in 2017. Ingle becamse the 28
th Gymhawk in program history to qualify for the all-around. Head Coach
Ashley Lawson, a former Southeast Missouri gymnast, qualified for the NCAA Regionals four times in her career. A three-time qualifier in the all-around and a one-time qualifier on the floor, Ingle marks the sixth gymnast to qualify for regionals under Lawson's direction. Â

MIC All-Around Champion
The Coppell, Texas-native,
Taylor Ingle captured the 2025 Midwest Independent Conference Championship's All-Around title on March 21 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Ingle achieved an all-around score of 39.300 to capture her first conference championship of her career.Â
Â
The championship performance marked her sixth all-around title of the season and tied her season-high score for 2025.Â

Her Last Time Out
Ingle had an impressive outing at the conference meet recording a championship performance on the beam. Ingle scored a 9.850 and captured first place, tied with her teammate
Leah Parton for the top spot. She finished tied for third on bars (9.825), tied for fifth on floor (9.825), and tied for sixth on vault (9.800).Â

High Scores
So far this season, Ingle's high scores have all been north of 9.850 including her highest score of the year coming with a 9.875 on the floor at Texas Woman's (Jan. 17) and in the final home meet of the regular season (Mar. 8). She has a 9.850 on the other three apparatuses including back-to-back weeks with a 9.850 on the beam.Â
