LOUISVILLE, Kent. - Luke Hatfield Jackson placed first in his respective event as the Redhawks enjoyed a successful day two of the Clark Wood Open finishing with 19 top 20 finishes with 14 being top ten marks.
Second to None
Luke Hatfield Jackson cleared a season best height of 7' 1.75" to take the trophy in the men's high jump. Jackson beat 20 other athletes in the event.
Top Five Placers
With a time of 9:25.90
Myles Thornburg was wearing the bronze in the men's 3000m steeplechase.
The men's discus throw saw two Redhawks notch a top-five mark.
Clay Alewelt ended up taking home the bronze with a throw of 171' 08" and
Paden Lewis took fifth place recording a mark of 170' 07".Â
SEMO's 4x400-meter women's relay team got the job done and placed second.

Alaina Lester crossed the finish line at 3:46.01.Â
Kenyon Johnson took home the bronze medal in the men's triple jump, getting to the distance of 49' 7.75". That jump was his season best so far this year.Â
SEMO Top Ten
Brianna Dixon jumped over hurdles for 100m in 14.00 for ninth. Dixon also recorded a season best jump of 5' 7.25" in the high jump placing eighth.Â
Marcus Gordon ran for a season best time of 14.68 in the 110m hurdles for ninth.
Clara Billing vaulted over a season best height of 13' 5.75" for sixth in the women's pole vault.
Women's 4x100m team of
Anna Thomason, Burdine, Dwaah, and Lester crossed the line at 46.48 for eighth.
Laila Hardin nearly gets a PR in the women's 400-meter race finishing with a time of 55.95 and an eighth place finish.Â
Sophomore
Molly Grohmann notched an 11th place finish with a jump of 5' 3.25" in the women's high jump.Â
The men's triple jump featured three semo athletes with these three
Luke Busateri,
Aarion Jackson, and
Cole Bruenderman finishing in sixth, seventh, and ninth. Busateri recorded a 47' 9.25" jump, Jackson finished with a season best distance of 47' 9.00" and Brudenderman jumped to the distance of 46' 7.50".Â
Rowdy Redhawk Marks
Alayna Sparr finished the steeplechase in 11:50.41 (12th) for a new personal best.
Andreese Ortiz threw the discus for a mark of 140' 9" to take 11th.
In the men's steeplechase,
Clayton Eftink and
Jacob Blassingame finished in 14th (9:45.59) and 15th (9:47.78).
In the women's 100-meter, freshman Lester recorded a personal best, crossing the finish line at 12.07. Also finishing with a personal best, but in the men's 100-meter, freshman
Dominic Revels finishes the race in 10.78 seconds.Â
Bryon Sowerby finished with a season best time of 3:58.04 in the men's 1500-meter race, placing 17th.Â
