SHREVEPORT, La. – Southeast Missouri Gymnastics clinched a spot in the 2025 WCGNIC National Championship with a 193.875 performance in Friday afternoon's semifinal finishing in the top spot of the session. 
 
The Gymhawks edged out Bridgeport (193.375), Southern Connecticut State (190.900), and Greenville (187.875) to advance to Saturday's final round. 
 
Junior Taylor Ingle led the squad with her seventh first place finish in the all-around this season with a 39.225 and scored the highest score on each rotation for the Gymhawks. Ingle finished first overall on the vault (9.825), bars (9.775), beam (9.825), and finished tied for 2^nd on the floor (9.800). 
 
Beam
The Gymhawks started Friday's semifinal on the beam scoring a 48.625 as a team in rotation one, led by Ingle with a 9.825 in the sixth and final spot. 
 
Senior Nyah Reader started off Friday's meet with an impressive 9.725 followed by sophomore Jordan Napolitano with a 9.750. The New York duo paced the Gymhawks to their highest rotation score of the afternoon. 
 
Leah Parton and Jaidan Kossuth rounded out the rest of the rotation with a 9.550 and a 9.775, respectively, as the Gymhawks rotated to the floor. 
 
Floor
The Gymhawks turned in a 48.500 on the floor, pushing their running score to a 97.125 after two rotations. Taylor Ingle led the Gymhawks with a 9.800, tying for second on the floor overall. 
 
Springfield, Missouri-native Kailyn Hamilton started off the floor with a 9.700 followed by freshman Anna Lee Phillips with a 9.625. 
 
Junior Sydney Crouch followed spots one and two with a 9.700 of her own in spot three. Leah Parton hit a 9.575, followed by senior Madison Greene with a 9.675. 
 
The Gymhawks would turn to the vault in rotation three. 
 
Vault
SEMO recorded their lowest team-score of the meet on the vault, turning in a 48.250 paced by Taylor Ingle with a 9.825 in the sixth and final spot of the rotation. 
 
Jaidan Kossuth kicked it off with a 9.575 In spot one followed by Nyah Reader with a 9.475 in spot two. 
 
Freshman Joselene Hernandez had the second-highest score of the rotation, turning in a 9.750 in spot three. Ailey Kuehn scored a 9.625 in the fourth spot, followed by Madison Greene with a 9.450 in spot five. 

The Gymhawks carried a running total of 145.375 into the fourth and final rotation on the bars. 
 
Bars
Southeast Missouri wrapped up the semifinals with a 48.500 on the bars, led by Taylor Ingle with a 9.775. 
 
Juniors Sydney Crouch and Kailyn Hamilton led off the rotation with a 9.500 and 9.600, respectively. Freshman Gracie Jones had a great routine in spot three, turning in a 9.725. 
 
Ava Johnston turned in a 9.750 in spot four as Joselene Hernandez turned in a 9.650 in the sixth and final spot to round out the rotation. 
 
The Gymhawks concluded with a 193.875 to win the semifinals. 
 
Looking Ahead
SEMO Gymnastics will look to capture the second National Championship title in program history on Saturday, April 12, when they take part in the team final in Shreveport, La. Competition is slated to begin at 7 p.m., CT. from the Gold Dome.
