SHREVEPORT, La. – Southeast Missouri Gymnastics scored a season-high 194.725 at the 2025 Midwest Independent Conference Championship Meet on Friday evening from the Gold Dome placing third overall for the meet.
Illinois State captured the championship with a 196.025, followed by Texas Woman's University with a 194.800. Centenary rounded out the competition with a 189.200.
The Gymhawks were led by junior
Taylor Ingle who competed in the all-around and finished first overall for the meet with a 39.300, tying her season-high and winning her sixth all-around title of the year.
Ingle finished tied for 6
th on vault (9.800), tied for 3
rd on bars (9.825), tied for first on beam (9.850), and tied for 5
th on the floor (9.825).
SEMO Gymnastics swept the first-place podium on the beam en route to earning a season-high 49.050 on the third rotation of the night. Sophomore
Leah Parton and
Taylor Ingle tied for first place with a 9.850.
Jordan Napolitano and
Nyah Reader each recorded a 9.800 on the beam to place third as the Gymhawks had their best outing of the night on the beam rotation.
Vault
The Gymhawks started out well on the vault, turning in a team score of 48.500 for rotation one.
Jaidan Kossuth turned in a 9.625 to get the night going from spot one. Napolitano followed her up with a 9.600 in the second spot.
Ailey Kuehn and
Joselene Hernandez followed with a 9.700 each in spots three and four, respectively.
Madison Greene and
Taylor Ingle finished the lineup with a 9.675 and 9.800, respectively, as the Gymhawks moved to the bars.
Bars
Taylor Ingle led the bars with a 9.825 as the Gymhawks scored a 48.375 as a team for a running score of 96.875 after two rotations.
Ingle recorded her score from spot five in the lineup. Fellow junior
Sydney Crouch started the bars rotation out with a 9.500.
Junior
Kailyn Hamilton went for a 9.675 as she finished 13
th overall for the meet with her score. Sophomore
Ava Johnston had a strong showing on the bars, scoring a 9.775 for the second-highest score of the rotation.
Freshman
Joselene Hernandez was inserted into the bars lineup and scored a 9.600 from the sixth and final spot.
Beam
The Gymhawks dominated on the beam with a season-high 49.050 including four scores of 9.800 or higher.
Leah Parton and
Taylor Ingle led the rotation with a 9.850 en route to capturing the MIC Beam Championship.
Nyah Reader and
Jordan Napolitano scored a 9.800 each to take home the bronze medal for the meet.
Junior
Ailey Kuehn scored a 9.750 as
Jaidan Kossuth rounded out the rotation with a 9.700 as the Gymhawks carried a 145.925 into the final rotation.
Floor
Taylor Ingle and
Madison Greene paced the floor, turning in a 9.825 each to finish fifth overall for the meet. The Gymhawks scored a 48.800 on the floor as a squad to finish with a 194.725 overall.
Sydney Crouch and
Leah Parton each turned in a 9.725 from spots two and four, respectively.
Freshman
Anna Lee Phillips, competing in her first MIC Championship, led off the floor rotation with an impressive 9.700.
Kailyn Hamilton went in spot three on the floor, capturing a 9.600.
