NORMAL, Ill. – Southeast Missouri Gymnastics turned in a 193.250 in the regular season finale on Saturday night at Illinois State. The Gymhawks were led by
Taylor Ingle who won the all-around with a 39.200.
Ingle led the Gymhawks on all four apparatuses on the evening scoring a 9.850 on the bars (T-3), 9.725 on the vault (5
th), 9.775 on the floor (T-4), and a 9.850 on the beam (2
nd) en route to her fifth all-around title of the season.
Illinois State won the meet with a 195.875.
Bars
The Gymhawks began the evening on the bars turning in a 48.400 as a team, led by Ingle (9.850).
Sophomore
Ava Johnston followed behind Ingle with a 9.775 in the sixth and final spot of the lineup. Johnston had the second-highest score of the evening on the bars.
Junior
Kailyn Hamilton and freshman
Gracie Jones rounded out the top scorers on the bars with a 9.700 and 9.675, respectively.
Vault
The Gymhawks rotated to the vault for rotation two on the night, turning in a 47.925 as Ingle paced the way with a 9.725 in the sixth and final spot of the lineup.
Senior
Madison Greene, junior
Ailey Kuehn, and freshman
Joselene Hernandez all recorded a 9.575 in spots three-through-five for the Gymhawks.
After the second rotation, the Gymhawks had a 96.325 heading into the third rotation of the evening.
Floor
On the floor, the Gymhawks turned in a 48.150 as Ingle led the way with a 9.775 followed by
Madison Greene with a 9.725.
Freshman
Anna Lee Phillips got things started with a 9.475 in the leadoff spot in the lineup. Junior
Kailyn Hamilton turned in a 9.500 in spot three of the lineup.
Leah Parton had a solid routine in spot four of the floor lineup, turning in a 9.675 as the Gymhawks turned to the final rotation with a 144.475 running score.
Beam
The Gymhawks achieved a 48.775 on the beam led by
Taylor Ingle with a 9.850 in the final spot of the lineup.
Four Gymhawks scored higher than a 9.700 on the beam including Ingle,
Nyah Reader,
Ailey Kuehn, and
Jaidan Kossuth.
Senior
Nyah Reader led off the beam with a 9.775.
Ailey Kuehn and
Jaidan Kossuth rounded out the top scorers on the beam with a 9.750 and 9.725, respectively.
Leah Parton and
Joselene Hernandez tied one another with a 9.675 in spots two and four, respectively to round out the rotation as the Gymhawks ended the night with a 193.250.
