Big Road Trip Ahead
•   Southeast Missouri starts a three-game road trip at Ohio Valley Conference leader Morehead State Thursday. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m., CT at Johnson Arena.
•   The three-game road stretch matches SEMO's longest of the season.
•   After Thursday's game, the Redhawks head to Southern Indiana (Feb. 8) and Little Rock (Feb. 11).
•   Since Jan. 16, SEMO will play on the road for six of eight contests.
•   The Redhawks won two of their previous three away games.
Series Notes
•   Southeast Missouri and Morehead State hook up for the 61st time.
•   MSU holds a 39-21 advantage in the all-time series between the teams.
•   Prior to this year, the teams split the last six matchups of the series. All three of SEMO's wins in that stretch were outside of Cape Girardeau.
•   The Redhawks beat the Eagles in Morehead on Feb. 19, 2022 (92-84) and Jan. 14, 2023 (91-86), and eliminated MSU in the semifinals of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament on Mar. 3, 2023 (65-58) in Evansville, Indiana.
•   MSU defeated SEMO, 67-56, on Jan. 11 in Cape Girardeau. It was the Eagles' fifth-straight win over the Redhawks at the Show Me Center.

Over Halfway HomeÂ
•   The Redhawks are 8-4 in Ohio Valley Conference a little over halfway through its conference schedule.
•   Southeast Missouri began the second half of league action with a 90-79 home win over UT Martin (Jan. 30) and 89-87 overtime victory at home over Tennessee State (Feb. 1).
•   After Thursday's game, SEMO travels to Southern Indiana (Feb. 8) and Little Rock (Feb. 11).
•   The rest of the OVC slate features home games against Tennessee Tech (Feb. 15), Western Illinois (Feb. 20) and Lindenwood (Feb. 22), and road matchups at SIU Edwardsville (Feb. 27) and Eastern Illinois (Mar. 1).
Redhawks Tied for Second in the OVCÂ
•   Southeast Missouri is currenlty in a three-way tie for second in the Ohio Valley Conference standings.
•   SEMO, SIUE and Little Rock all have 8-4 league records behind first-place Morehead State (9-3).Â
•   The Redhawks doubled their number of conference victories from 2023-24 (4).
•   At 13-10 overall and 8-4 in OVC play, the Redhawks have surpassed their number of overall (9) and OVC (4) wins from 2023-24 by +4 margins.
•   SEMO began the 2024-25 season with a 3-0 record in OVC play marking the first time it won three-straight games to start a conference season since 2011-12.
•   The Redhawks beat Eastern Illinois (79-72, Dec. 19), SIU Edwardsville (80-64, Dec. 21), Southern Indiana (77-66, Jan. 9), UT Martin (90-79, Jan. 30) and Tennessee State (89-87, OT, Feb. 1) at home, and Tennessee State (67-65, Jan. 2), Tennessee Tech (77-70, Jan. 16) and Western Illinois (72-51, Jan. 25) on the road for their OVC wins this year.
•   SEMO won eight of its last 12 OVC games dating back to last year's season-ending 70-66 victory at Southern Indiana.
Korn Approaching 40 OVC Wins
•   A win at Morehead State Thursday will give Brad Korn his 40th Ohio Valley Conference win as Southeast Missouri's head coach.
•   Korn is 39-46 all-time in OVC games.
•   If he hits that mark, Korn will become the fourth head coach in SEMO program history to get 40 or more OVC wins, joining Gary Garner (73-81), Dickey Nutt (41-59), and Ron Shumate (40-56).

•   Southeast Missouri won 10 of its last 14 games with seven of those victories coming in Cape Girardeau.
•   SEMO saw a season-long five-game winning streak end with a three-point (66-63) loss at UT Martin (Jan. 4).
•   The Redhawks had a six-game home winning streak until their 67-56 loss to Morehead State (Jan. 11).
•   SEMO is 5-2 at the Show Me Center and 3-2 on the road in conference play.
•   The Redhawks are also on a three-game winning streak, which is presently tied for the longest in the OVC with Tennessee Tech and Eastern Illinois.
Redhawks Sweep Tennessee State
•   The Redhawks completed their first sweep of an Ohio Valley Conference opponent this season when they beat Tennessee State, 89-87, in overtime on Feb. 1.
•   Southeast Missouri used a pair of two-point victories to sweep the Tigers.Â
•   It was the second time SEMO swept the home-and-home series with TSU under Head Coach Brad Korn.
•   The Redhawks also edged the Tigers, 67-65, in Nashville on Jan. 2.
Washington, Jr. Sticks Game-Winner
•   Teddy Washington, Jr. made a jumper with two seconds left in overtime giving Southeast Missouri a thrilling 89-87 victory over Tennessee State (Feb. 1).
•   Washington, Jr.'s first career game-winner as a Redhawk came after Brandon Weston turned the ball over.
•   Washington, Jr. finished with 13 points as one of four Redhawks in double figures against the Tigers.
Three-Game Winning Streak
•   Southeast Missouri carries a three-game winning streak into Thursday's matchup with Ohio Valley Conference leader Morehead State.
•   SEMO beat Western Illinois, 72-51, on the road on Jan. 25 and upended both UT Martin (Jan. 30), 90-79, and Tennessee State (Feb. 1),   89-87, at home.
•   The Redhawks went 10-4 in their last 14 contests and are on a winning streak of three or more games for the second time this year.
Terry Notches Career-High
•   Brendan Terry scored a career-high 20 points against Tennessee State (Feb. 1).
•   Terry made a near-perfect 10-of-11 free throws to go along with 5-of-10 field goals in his 12th double-digit scoring effor of the season.
•   He became the first Redhawk to make 10 free throws in a game in 2024-25.
Martin Reaches 200 Assists
•   With his seven assists against UT Martin (Jan. 30), point guard Rob Martin reached 200 in his career. Martin has a total of 205 in his career.
•   Martin leads Southeast Missouri and ranks third in the Ohio Valley Conference with 97 assists through 23 games this season.
•   He averages 4.2 assists per game and has dished out five or more a total of seven times.
•   Martin finished with a career-high nine assists in SEMO's OVC opener against Eastern Illinois (Dec. 19).
•   Martin is the first Redhawk to get 200 or more assists in a career since Jonathan Dalton (315, 2016-19) accomplished the feat.
•   He is three assists away from getting 100 in a season for the second-straight year.
Martin is Rolling
•   Rob Martin scored double figures in eight-straight games.
•   Martin scored 15 points against Southern Indiana (Jan. 9) and followed that up with 21 vs. Morehead State (Jan. 11), 19 vs. Little Rock (Jan. 14), 13 at Tennessee Tech (Jan. 16), 12 at Lindenwood (Jan. 23), 16 at Western Illinois (Jan. 25), 18 vs. UT Martin (Jan. 30) and 22 vs. Tennessee State (Feb. 1).
•   He is SEMO's second-leading scorer with 12.5 points per game through 23 starts this season.
•   Martin finished as the Redhawks top scorer a total of six times in 2024-25.
OVC Leader in Turnover Margin
•   The Redhawks are first in the Ohio Valley Conference with a +3.0 turnover margin.
•   Southeast Missouri is committing a league low 10.7 turnovers per game while forcing 13.7.
•   SEMO turned the ball over less than 10 times a total of nine games this season.
•   The Redhawks had a season-low six turnovers at Western Illinois (Jan. 25).
Redhawks 10th in the Nation Defending the Three
•   Southeast Missouri is 10th in the nation in 3-point percentage defense.
•   Opponents are shooting just 28.7 percent from downtown against Southeast Missouri this season.
