FT. WORTH, Texas – Southeast Missouri Gymnastics finished with a 192.350 at the Metroplex Challenge on Friday night from the Ft. Worth Convention Center. The Gymhawks faced off with #14 Arkansas, who won the meet with a 196.400, #19 Arizona (196.125), and #10 Oregon State (196.025).
Junior
Taylor Ingle finished fifth overall in the all-around with a 39.075. Ingle finished with four scores of 9.700 or higher, including a 9.800 on the vault (T-13) and floor (T-12). She scored a 9.775 on the bars (T-14) and rounded out her night with a 9.700 on beam (T-16).
Floor
They Gymhawks started the night on the floor and turned in their second-highest rotation score of the night with a 48.300 led by
Taylor Ingle with a. 9.800.
Senior
Madison Greene made her return to the lineup on Friday night, turning in a 9.650 on the floor.
Newcomer
Leah Parton recorded the second-highest score of the night on the floor with a 9.700.
Vault
Taylor Ingle paced the way again on the vault as the junior recorded a 9.800 leading SEMO to a 48.625 vault score, their highest of the evening.
Joselene Hernandez followed close behind Ingle as she turned in a 9.775 for the Gymhawks. Freshman
Anna Lee Phillips scored a 9.675 as
Jordan Napolitano rounded out the top scores on the vault with a 9.600.
After the second rotation, the Gymhawks had a running total of 96.925.
Bars
The Gymhawks concluded the Bars with a 47.450, their lowest rotation score of the evening, as
Taylor Ingle recorded the highest score with a 9.775.
Freshman
Gracie Jones had the next highest score on the bars with a 9.600 in spot four of the rotation.
Ava Johnston anchored the lineup, rounding out the top three scores on bars with a 9.525.
Sydney Crouch had a nice routine in spot two finishing with a 9.350. The Gymhawks finished the third rotation with a running score of 144.075.
Beam
Senior
Nyah Reader led the Gymhawks on the beam for the second-straight week turning in a 9.725 in the leadoff spot of the beam rotation.
Newcomers
Leah Parton and
Jaidan Kossuth turned in great scores as well, finishing with a 9.675 and 9.650, respectively.
Taylor Ingle finished with a 9.700 for her fourth score of 9.700 or higher on the evening as the Gymhawks scored a 48.275 for their third highest rotation score of the evening.
