Gymhawks Win SEMO Tri-Meet, Record Season-High 193.875 Friday Night

HOUCK FIELD HOUSE – Southeast Missouri Gymnastics won the SEMO Tri-Meet on Friday night with a season-high 193.875 led by Taylor Ingle who finished with a 39.100 in the all-around.
The Gymhawks defeated Northern Illinois and Centenary who recorded a 193.550 and 186.525, respectively.
Junior Taylor Ingle finished first overall in the all-around category edging Centenary's Sophie Schmitz (37.050) and NIU's Kiera O'Shea (38.825).
Vault
The Gymhawks started the night on the vault led by Taylor Ingle who anchored the lineup with a 9.800 in the sixth spot. As a team, SEMO recorded a 48.350 for rotation one.
Junior Ailey Kuehn followed behind with a 9.700 in spot five of the lineup. The Gymhawks started the rotation with three-straight 9.600s from Leah Parton, Jordan Napolitano, and Jaidan Kossuth.
Freshman Joselene Hernandez recorded a 9.650 for the third highest score on the rotation as the Gymhawks headed to the bars.
Bars
Taylor Ingle headlined the bars for the second-straight rotation with the highest score as she scored a 9.725 in spot five. The Gymhawks registered a 48.075 for the second rotation.
Junior Kailyn Hamilton and freshman Gracie Jones each recorded a 9.650 in spots one and four, respectively.
Sydney Crouch and sophomore Ava Johnston rounded out the top scores with a 9.550. At the end of the second rotation, the Gymhawks had a running score of 96.425.
Beam
The Gymhawks soared on the third rotation of the night turning in their highest rotation score of the night with a 48.800, pushing their running score to a 145.225.
Leah Parton led the way with a 9.800 in spot four of the lineup as each Redhawk socred a 9.700 or higher on the beam. Sophomore Jordan Napolitano recorded the second-highest score with a 9.775 in spot two.
Senior Nyah Reader kicked things off in spot one with a 9.725 to get the rotation rolling. Junior Ailey Kuehn scored a 9.750 in spot three as the rotation concluded with a 9.750 and 9.725 from Jaidan Kossuth and Taylor Ingle, respectively.
Floor

Freshman Anna Lee Phillips recorded the second-highest score of the rotation with a 9.800 in the second spot of the lineup. Junior Kailyn Hamilton rounded out the top three scorers of the floor rotation with a 9.700 in spot three.
