The Southeast Missouri tennis team wrapped up its fall tournament schedule at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional tournament in Knoxville Tennessee.
 
The Redhawks sent Maja Bajorek, Saskia Soome, and Yontha Tadoum to compete against the top players and teams in the region. 
 
Bajorek and Soome started the tournament in the qualifying singles bracket. Bajorek lost a tight three-set battle to Evelyn Risner from Miami (Ohio). Soome won her first match 6-4, 5-7, 6-1 against Chase Boyer from Indiana. Soome woud go on to lose in straight sets to Addison Iacono in the second round.
 
In the main singles draw Tadoum and Soome Both lost their first matches. 
 
In the doubles draw, Soome and Tadoum earned a win in the first round against a duo from Eastern Kentucky 8-3. They fell in the second round 8-2 against a team from Louisville. 
 
Bajorek got her first win of the tournament in the consolation bracket winning 6-2, 6-4 against Ellie Brotherton from Xavier.
 
The Redhawks will be back on the court for their main season starting January 17^th when SEMO will travel to Tulsa and battle with Tulsa and Louisiana Tech.
